Roles and Responsibilities

NUworkspace is provided by a consortium of units as a shared, but not University-wide, service. Participating units are responsible for contributing to ongoing maintenance costs and support responsibilities as identified in the NUworkspace Terms of Service.

The following table details the roles and responsibilities for NUworkspace.

Client support
  • Ensure supported client computers are capable of connecting to service
  • Unit IT departments
User Experience group
  • Serve as the interface with support channels
  • Identify and drive consulting needs
  • Recommend changes to Steering group

  • Determine service configuration
  • Analyze usage statistics
